Well, the build is moving along, actually quite complex for a motorcycle, but starting to look good.
Here you get to see the layers going on.

So much is hidden it beggars the question, why hide it, but again compared to the old 900SS and company, this is a whole different beast.

This has been quite a ride thus far.

Thanks for watching, till next time!:thumb2:

The detailing is amazing, Gavin @snowman
A pity indeed to hide it.

Looking good standing on her wheels, Gavin @snowman, you’re on the home straight now, as for hiding all the details we all know they’re there.

Wow Gavin, your Panigale is absolutely superb... great work. Without hijacking your post, can I ask some opinion? I have a Tamiya Ducati 888 superbike. Is it sacrilage to change it to a white tank and fairing and red wheels and frame as the colour scheme on my 797 that I posted earlier above. I would like to build it as a non-scale track day bike with limited or no sponsorship details and probably no numbers? I just don't want to upset anyone on this forum as I am new here, and would like to post a build log when I get started. Advice please gentlemen.

Wow @gavin that is amazing work - what did you use for the hose plugs, are those aftermarket ones.

I managed to do some more today. This is one fiddly kit!

Got the rear portion, seat, tank and top part of the fairing completed. The instructions for the fairing assembly is wrong. You effectively have to glue that valance then the mirrors in place before inserting the clear screen.
    Mirror assy & install

Each mirror comprises of 4 parts.
Had to re-prep the drill holes as they formed rims which caused the fairing rivets to stand too proud, Fortunately clear red can fix all the chips, as I discovered my surface prep was inadequate for the Alclad 2 gloss black. Not enough adhesion.
    Counterbore

The end is in sight! Hold on tight!

    Thanks for watching. :vulcan_salute:t3:

Thanks Spiros, there were moments when I questioning my sanity. Some issues still to navigate, but I can see the finish line. Till next time.

The bike is finished and I'm stoked!
All that is left to be done is finish the base/case to house the Ducati.

    Thanks for watching.
