In order to check where to cut the old end is once again in use.
As mentioned in my Typ 60 log, I still keep the end of a disaster around to be used as template for lots of other projects. It is also used here to testfit the changes, and thus it is nearing the end of its useful life.

Well, I have some time ago praised my resharpable scalpel blades, but nonetheless decided to use a fresh one for this project.
The old blade will not be thrown away though, but will be sharpened and put to good use again. I know it is not a lot of money to buy a new blade, but when it is possible to reuse something, why not do so? Not to save money, but to save resources. After all we only have this one earth.
