"Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" ? or something there of
More madness please ๐
For a minute I thought it looked like the new 1/12 Italeri 1923 Fiat Mestophole racing car (on my list).
A rocket on the back? Who knows!
Here is what I am up to. This is the old Lindberg Stutz. I am adding the body from the Mercedes Benz Lindberg kit. Nothing special just some fun. Here is what I started from. The kit box in the background. and my mess in front. I hope to post some WIP later today. California Steve
OK, but where did the Duval type windshield come from?
Great question Al. It is from a 1/24 ford roadster. I did a bit of trimming and cutting. California Steve
Almost done. I will post the finished model in the Headlines soon. California Steve
Lookin' good so far, Steve...I'll bet it's gonna have workin' headlights, too. ๐
Now what can I say, the car didn't have headlights. What's a modeler to do? I have posted the finished model at Headlines. For such a simple model I sure had some fun. I think there are under 30 pieces to this kit. Thanks Craig. California Steve
Steve: I love that shade of blue! What is it? Beautiful car, looks like the time period. You expect to see one of the Vanderbilts, clad in duster and goggles, narrowly missing a peasant whilst doing 20 MPH in a great cloud of dust! "Get a horse!" Regards, Bernie (No, I wasn't around then)
Hi Bernie. The color is Tamiya TS23 light blue rattle can. When I saw it in the hobby shop I knew it was just the color I wanted. Ford has almost this color on some of there Mustangs and does Steve want one?... I would say yes. Thanks for your nice comments Bernie. I have posted more pics on the Headline section of this forum.
