    Alrighty, I have 4 LEDs installed so far. 6 more to do in the exhaust stacks. There's a Mega LED on each side of the chest to illuminate the rib cutouts and 1 Mega and one Chip LED in the face. The Mega is behind the 3 'eyes' and the chip is behind the mouth. All of the openings have been covered with the partially transparent paper that protects water slide decals. It seemed like it would be a great light diffuser and it seems to have worked out. I glued it in place using Testors clear canopy glue. I purchased all of the LEDs from Evan Designs, Mega and Chip are the sizes... The rib/chest piece is not glued in place yet to allow for painting...

    I have also started assembling the War Dogs, they will be static, no magnets or LEDs.

    Those LEDs generate a great effect, Brian @brithebuilder
    It might look terrifying in the dark.

    So, I know I wasn't going to put LEDs into the War Dogs, but as I was building them I started feeling like they'd look rather odd on the diorama if the Knight behind them was all lit up and they weren't at all. So, yeah, the faces of the War Dogs now have a Mega LED inside. I opened the eyes and the back of the mouth on both of them. I did also add the 6 LEDs to finish the lighting of the Knight's exhaust stacks. With the lighting finished, it's time to start painting!

    Great decision to add those LEDs into the War Dogs, Brian @brithebuilder
    They make them look at lot meaner.

    @johnb, @fiveten - Thank you both.

    I just finished base coating all, I think, of the Ivory sections of the armor and weapons. Only 5-7 thin layers... regardless, it's done now. On to the Dark Red trim. That should cover far more quickly.

    I just found this thread, Brian (@brithebuilder). I will be following along for sure. What scale to you think these are? Have you got more info about lighting and electronics on your YouTube channel? Both are a mystery to me.

    @gblair - Hey George, this is all 28mm scale. Officially, Games Workshop says that Warhammer 40K is 28mm scale... the space marines, as genetically modified super soldiers are closer to 32- 35 mm tall. This Knight stands roughly 160 mm tall and the 2 War Dogs are about 100 mm. So a normal human would be about to the Knight's mid shin. I do have a couple more videos on my YouTube channel for how I've set up LEDs and wiring on other projects, yes.

    @anthonyricco - Thanks Anthony. I am glad I ordered some extra LEDs. The War Dogs definitely needed them.
