I am one of those lucky guys that was able to work in a field that I had an interest on since I was very young. I’ve been working in the aviation field since 1980. I work on the maintenance side, worked at Curtiss Wright (overhauling the J57 for the B-52), I know what is a Pratt & Whitney engine doing at Curtiss Wright but that was how the military contract was set up. That was a pretty cool job with a factory loaded with aviation history. From 1984 to present I work in the airlines. These are the aircraft I have either worked on or provide training: 727, 737, DC-9, MD80, DC-10, A-300, 757, 767 and 777. I have gone through the Boeing Factory training on the 757, 767 and 777. Retirement is going to happen later this year.

I started building models back in the 1960's. In the 70's and 80's is when I built most of my kits. 1/72 scale, WWII is what I built the most but I do like 1/48 single engine fighters too. I have also built jets from the 50's, a few Sci Fi models and Gemini/Apollo program model kits from Revell and Monogram. My favorite builds were usually old Revell, Matchbox, Frog and Airfix kits that needed work but still showed potential if built out of the box. In April 2020 I made my comeback into this great hobby after 30 years of not building a kit. I am pretty happy to be back.
