Nice choice. should look great next to the other team aircraft.
Excellent choice Allan. I can remember watching these actual planes practicing / performing their air show routines at the now closed Sanford NAS here in Florida, when I was a wee little one... Dad took me there to watch them. I'll be watching this one for sure. Thanks again my friend.
Thanks Robert, will be good to have the full set ! Thanks Louis, it's good that you can remember that !
Great choice Allan. Looking forward to this build.
Allan, great choice, and a favorite of mine. I got to see the Blues fly a show at Pax River when they were flying these. When they did the opposing pass in front of the spectators, someone fainted! That's how good they were. I keep hoping somebody will do a 1/48th Tiger, not one that requires a drum of putty and a bale f sandpaper. Is this the latest of a collection of Blue Angels? I always wanted to do that, myself.
Thanks Ferry.----------Thanks Bernard, do you remember the year ? did that person recover to see the rest of the display ? I hope you do get a 1/48, I should get a 1/72 F 11F-1 if it exists and a few others to have a complete set of Angels, I may do the Panther and Bearcat for this group as well, there are other versions of the Cougar I don't have as well.
A bit of paint on and around the inlets, filled the holes under the wings !
Insides of inlets painted, and added to fuselage sides, instrument decals applied with Future.

I added 6g of lead to the nose just to be sure, fuselage joined together.
Looking good!
Looking good. Godspeed!
Thanks Greg, Thanks Paulo.
Another wonderful model in the making. Some great progress Allan!
Thanks ferry.
