Civil War Horseman
This was my first attempt at a large scale figure (and horse). I wanted to build this for my son-in-law who is a big fan of the Civil War history living a short distance from Gettysburg. This is a resin model so the parts were glued with CA. I used ModelMaster enamels for paint.

I see you've got no problem at all with figures...nice!

Craig... well it took me quite awhile to complete, as I quit on it for a couple of years, don't remember why though. I was pleased with the results and hated to give it away, but isn't that the way it always happens? I have several more in the works. I am trying out acrylic paints with some success, and I think I will advance to oils soon. I just purchased Sheperd Paine's book Building and Painting Scale Figures, so I'm excited to explore new worlds.

Jack,
I really like this and admire anyone that does figures.

Thanks Frank….not really my comfort zone but I was happy with the results. It helps to start out with a decent sculpture.
