1/72 Matchbox F-86 Sabre
One of our club's themes, was "Snake Bit", or, "something with a snake". (I think the theme was chosen by a car builder, with a Shelby Cobra). Wanting to do something quick (and it shows), I chose the Matchbox F-86 Sabre, with the markings of the Arizona ANG, a stylized rattlesnake. Let's just say you have to be very careful with OLD decals... The model was as basic as they come, molded in at least two "exciting colors". The fit was decent, and about 20 parts later, I was ready to prime. While it doesn't look like much, it provided me with my monthly "theme" entrant, without taking too much time from my others.

At least you got it done. My efforts at in-club builds start as simple builds and my AMS flares up & I don't get done so no matter your F-86 looks like I'm proud of you.
