GI Joe's Toys Into Art
First off, I had nothing to do with these exceptional figures. The workmanship is so good I want to share it with our group.
Since I can't model a decent figure, in any scale, these G I Joe upgrades blew me away. Someone emailed me these photos some time ago, but I lost the email so my facts are a little hazy. The man that produces these models uses the large G I Joe figures from Hasbro as a base and then works his magic. All the clothing, weapons, and accessories are made by him, he is a tailor by trade. But the ability to transform the faces into life like replicas are the real art work. My favorite figure is the American tanker leaning against the work bench. At first glance I thought it was a real person. From what I remember the builder sells these figures but not on a commission basis. He builds what he wants and if someone wants one, off it goes to a new home. I can't recall the builder's name and if I can find the email with his name, I'll post it. Enjoy!

Mike,
These are fantastic. Whomever did them has quite a talent. I think the Marine Sgt, #9' was my DI.

Incredible work, but cracks me up. Years ago a younger brother had one that died a gory death due to a back pack full of Black Cats. Poor guy didn't look too good.
