Academy 48th Scale F-4B Finally Complete
It's hard to believe it was seven months ago that I posted some in-progress photos on this project. There was a lot of decal work even before I added the Mike Grant rivets. I liked the kit and built it OOB.

Great Phantom Jack, lovely work there .
Those stencils must of been a pain in the A***.
Well done Jack
Good job with nice colors !
well done
Beautiful job, I know that kit has some challenges and you did a great job man!
Dontcha just love the Sun Downers Colours schemes
Great work Jack
looks the business mate.
You obviously conquered all the bug-a-boo's that I encountered with this kit. That's a spectacular build you've accomplished with what I consider to be a less than spectacular kit, given all the pre-release hype associated with it. Again, a very nicely done Phantom, Jack. Congratulations.
(and yes, I did notice you changed your avatar).
Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I think I'll take a break from Phantoms for a while.
Great looking Phantom Jack. I'm betting between the rivets & stencils that was about 1/3rd of your build time.
Congratulations Jack. Time and patience paid off for a great looking model.
That's one of the prettiest Phantoms I've seen, Jack. Looks even better "in person" !
The Phantom is mean looking bird- Killer build Jack!
A stunner, Jack. What an exercise in patience and commitment.
simply outstanding jack
Love it Jack, the F-4 in the VF-111 scheme is one of my favorites, well done, I have this kit and looking forward to when its time to start building it. It will be what else, VF-84, The Jolly Rogers. Thanks for sharing, very well done.

Great build, Jack. I think I read that Eduard are reboxing this Academy kit with some masks and etch.
Nice clean build, except all that exhaust soot on the tail section underside. Great job, all those stencils must have been a bear to apply.
Was that 7 months? Sunds like my tempo.
But looking at the results, well worth it.
This looks fantastic! I was sketchy about the whole multi color plastic bit of this kit, but it looks like it covers well. I guess I'll be finally adding a thin wing Phantom to my navy fleet! I was thinking Jolly Rogers, but the Sundowners might be too colorful to pass up!
Jack,
This is absolutely gorgeous. This looks almost real. Outstanding work you did on this kit.
One of the most beautifully finished aircraft I've seen on this site, your patience has more than paid off.
