I'd really like to get a 32nd scale Mosquito, but a 32nd scale LANCASTER..?! I'd have to start another"model room". 🙁
The Mosquito is going to come with the bulged bomb bay as shown here, and with the original bomb bay. Probably in January, according to Neil. I'll have a test shot in a month or so and will do a review. Also getting the Fly Arado Ar-234.
I have a load of photos which I can't seem to upload at the moment but will when I get home.
Tom, saw your new book on one of the stands today.
Also please to report my Heinkel diorama "Big Fish" won a bronze in the aircraft diorama category.
Congratulations to you Rob ! did you posted it here ?
Rob if you only managed got Bronze this your georgeous work the competition must have been brutal. Cogratulations on the Bronze, any medal at Telford is well and truly earned.
Really I haven't been drinking or off my Meds, sorry about the gibberish in the first sentence above.
Well, naturally pleased, but some discussion among our club members even before the judging took place, as there were two entrants in the aircraft diorama category that it was felt didn't meet the criteria, and then one of them was awarded the Silver. It was a biplane on a metal pole on a plane wooden base with some symbolic poppies at the base and a small RFC badge... We were surprised to say the least!
Really, that is MOST excellent. Congratulations.
I guess this is run like AMPS, the models get judged before they get put on the tables?
No, everything goes on the tables between nine and eleven and then the doors are closed at midday for three hours for judging.
Congratulations, Rob!
I dindät manage to catch up with you today, hope for better luck tomorrow.
Thanks Martin. I did keep a weather eye out for you but didn't see you. Although I did notice some iModeler business cards on a table near the foyer!
those are awesome kits,
I'm looking forward to seeing that Hornet...would love to build that one!
Yeeeeeeeeesssssssss ! The box art looks pretty fast 🙂
