1951 Chev Custom
1951 Chevrolet Corsa V-12, a retro mod custom, built using 1951 Fleetline, 1951 BelAir, 1955 Corvette, 1999 Corvette, 2005 Corvette, some scratch built parts and some PE. The V-12 is because I've combined two Corvette V-8 engines into one V-12 engine. The white-with-red-accents upholstery pattern was created with PhotoShop and printed onto linen fabric with an Epson ink jet printer.
It is currently on the bench waiting for the paint to cure before color sanding, bare metal foil, glazing, and headliner.
I see your modeling skills have a wide range...nice work.
Very inventive. Great subject material.
You have some very good modeling skills. This is a very nice replica of classic Detroit steel. Love the paintjob.Well done!
Showing quite a bit of imagination here. Your modifications are complimenting each other very nicely. Isn't chopping things up fun?
I'll be watching for the finished product.
WOW…that's nice Bruce. Thanks for showing the modifications in progress. Can't wait to see the finished product.
All that work and the non car guys (like me) would think it came out of a box that way! I'm glad you posted these pictures and, like the other guys, look forward to the finished product. Great stuff.
What a monster! Should look very cool when it's finished.
Damn, that's some craftsmanship!
Thanks all for the kind words, much appreciated. I had a day free to post, now back to work for the next five weeks, so no time to post or follow. Frown# See ya'll in five weeks!
Nice build Bruce, she is going to look good when finished.
Bruce,
OK, come clean... Your really George Barris, RIGHT?
I am in awe of your skill. This is unique in concept and beautifully done.
