Review: Schmincke Aero Color, 2nd Voice

March 2, 2015 · in Reviews · 6 · 1.6K

Just as an example and to underline Ulf`s experience with Schmincke Aero Color airbrush paints and what you can do with them . The models are a 1/48 Hasegawa Bf 109 E and a 1/35 Tamiya T-55 still in the works.

Schmincke also a superb airbrush cleaner, the best I ever used.
Cheers to Ulf, see you on Friday

  1. In the UK, these colours are £6.65 a bottle, covering 36 colours, so mabe not everyone's preference, but a fine result nonetheless.

    • Wow! that's expensive!
In Berlin they cost 4.94€ a bottle if you buy them in the store or 5.88 a bottle if you order them from

      One bottle contains 28 ml.
A Vallejo bottle contains 17ml and a Tamiya or Gunze bottle even less if I remember correctly.
Also, thanks to the pipette, there is much less waste, so in the end, I don't think they are that much more expensive, at least not here in Germany.
Also, there are other brands of airbrush paints for artists, possibly cheaper, that might be worth trying.

  2. Nice work, to see more pics of your builds, though.

  3. Nice builds. Can you show some more please? 🙂
