Bolyai Model Show, Budapest
The Bolyai Model Show and Contest takes place here in Budapest in a military campus on the 10-11th of October. this is a way smaller show than the now "world famous" Moson-show, but still a good one with a plenty of great builds.
The event was organized by the Bolyai Makett Klub (http://www.bolyaimk.hu/) and it was a nice, really familiar two day event with a lots of visitors, sellers and almost all the local clubs represented themselves there.
Here are a short selection from yesterday, without any order, I took photos about everything which fits to my taste...sorry, no figures there, the jury were working heavily with them when I was there.
cheers,
milan
Great pics and some really nice work indeed
Looks like a lot of fine models there.
Thanks for posting Milan.
Thanks for these, Milan, I especially appreciate the rally cars, now I know what happened to all those Tamiya Escort Cosworth kits, I'd really like one now!
hello George, these two Fords were great builds indeed and I would like to have one of them also... I love raIly cars, have a Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC MC '05 kit at home, one of next year's big plan is to build this as a starting point of an evergrowing collection 🙂
Some real talent on display there...that Apollo 13 build is extraordinary.
I wonder if it's the New Ware kit.
i don't know which kit is it, i didn't see its datasheet, but i can tell, it was really-really awesome in reality
A nice display. I'm always amazed as to the similarity of models from one show to another, no matter the subject of choice.
Milan, thanks for posting these. Great builds, that Blackjack really stands out in the crowd. I also like the dio with the crashed LA 5(?), and the burned out T-55. Some of the shot up buildings are just artistic, if that's the word. Like the missing balcony. Nicely done!
Several times I go to your neighbor on the shows.
Always high quality kit build and good competition
P.k
