1/72 Hasegawa He-111-H6
This is another re-shoot of an earlier project, originally built and photographed in Aug. 2000. I included one of the old pictures that shows some of the internal detail. For the new set up I replaced the old nylon thread antenna wires with some 2 lb fishing line and did some general cleaning. This was a really good kit, with perfect decals and "CLEAR" plastic. A pe fret with gun sights, belts and rudder pedals was included.
Nice job, Phil...nice pics, too.
Thanks Craig ! The box had good stuff in it. Makes a big difference.
Very nice!
Thanks Greg ! Glad you like it.
Good looking HE, Phil. The gunsights add to it, in that scale.
Thanks Bernard ! The pe fret that came with the kit had sights for all of the manual guns. They were tricky to attach. This was the first pe stuff that I worked with.
Beautiful Heinkel, the added gun sight for the MG FF in the A Stand is a very nice touch.
Thanks Bernd ! I was quite happy with the results at the time. Now, 17 years later, there's been a lot of plastic under the bridge !
I agree with everything stated above... You have a masterpiece here !
Thanks Louis ! As I previously stated, there was good stuff in the box.
Good looking model Phil, well done.
Thanks Allan ! Glad you like it.
Looks great, love the new background.
Thanks Robert ! It's just the old backyard, but it looks great.
It looks mean, just like the real thing.
George, I always thought a lot of the WW II German planes looked like they were designed to scare the dickens out of you. Sinister looking. And the Stuka! Shades of the pterodactyl
Thanks George ! I think the BUNKER BUSTERS make it look even meaner.
Well done Phil, I like it a lot !.
I also agree on this being a great kit.
Thanks Terry ! Glad you like it.
