THE SPECIAL HOBBY LLOYD C.V series 46 - 1:72

Here's my little stop motion experiment of assembling the Lloyd C.V series 46 from Special Hobby in the scale 1:72. For me it was a pleasure to partial work in my garden since we had a long period of good weather conditions.

The Lloyd C.V 46 was a special wood planked aircraft of the WWI (1917) - even the wings were covered with thin plywood. To simulate the plywood on my model I used wood grain decals from Uschi van der Rosten over brown accentuated paint from alclad II (milspecs). Alu and gun metal from alclad II as well. The rigging material is rubber thread (Uschi van der Rosten) fixed with eyelets and turnbuckles made with rods and tubes from Albion Alloys...
