Free Handley Page Victor! 1:1 scale
Well, you folks know how I like big models? I submit this! If it can get to the States it would probably be allowed to fly. (Provided the corrosion is repairable.) Would make a nice stablemate for XS422 down at Stennis! Who wants to help me get it on a boat?https://www.warhistoryonline.com/news/victor.html Picture not representative of actual product.

What a plane, Josh! These birds should fly forever. I recall the 2009 accidental “takeoff”. I’ ve built the Matchbox kit in 2006-ish, finished in Gulf War scheme (“Maid Marian” I think); its shape looking equally impressive even at 1/72!
All the best!

Try the 1/72 Airfix, much more enjoyable! One of the few kits to break my “1/48 ONLY!” rule. (I also have the fine Airfix Valiant and they also have a new tool Vulcan is due late this year!

Very beautiful plane. And an interesting video in the article.
Thanks.

These “new” Airfix offerings indeed look amazing! The new Vulcan will presumablly look the part too. But alas me:
1. I ‘ve got another unbuilt Matchbox.
2. I’ ve got -SIGH – the Mach2 Valiant kit, bought at times when a Mainstream Valiant was not that likely.
3. I’ ve built the old Airfix Vulcan.
Inevitably……re-evaluation and new decision times have arrived!
Thanks for the info, Josh.
Stay safe, my friend.

Never mind the boat. Fill it with hand sanitizer and toilet paper. You will get priority landing anywhere you like!

Hay , that’s a good one Haslam! Nice video, but I don’t think it will fit in my yard.
