Bell X-1, Eduar 1/48
I assembled the model more or less to take a break during the construction of the Pilatus PC-9. It's pretty simple, I'd say a weekend model. A little more cleaning of the plastic is needed, otherwise no major problems. The package contains practically everything you need for a decent model, masks, photo-etched parts and resin wheels.
Very nice!
Great build, Anže.
To get it look like yours, I would for sure need a very long weekend.
I didn't know there was an X-1 in 1/48! Great news! Yours turned out extremely nice. The interior and wheel bays look suitably detailed for the scale and available viewing space. Since you can see the back of the instrument panel through the windscreen are the backs of the instruments molded into it? Now I have to search the internet to see if anyone has paired this up with Monogram's B-29!
Sorry for late reply. I did the backs of the instruments out of styrene with punch and die set.
This is such a wonderful build, Anže!
I got the same unbuilt, so, what an inspiration!
It's very cool, I liked it.
Thanks everyone!
