Eurofighter Typhoon
JG74 Luftwaffe RED FLAG ALASKA 122 June 2012
The 1/72 kit from Hasegawa is excellent. Great fit, fantastic detail, lots of weapon configurations and that amazing hard plastic that characterise them. I added the rivets and one or two extra details. Painted with Ak interactive Real colours Lacquers and weathered with Abteilung 502 oil paints.
Excellent, clean build, especially for this scale. Very nice!
Thank you, Andrew!. Glad you liked it.
I agree, beautifully done!
Thank you, Robert! 🙂
Really subtle weathering and the excellent photographs really set this model off, definitely liked.
Thanks, George!. Yeah, I've noticed the German Typhoons are kept quite clean! so I tried to do very subtly with the weathering. I think it looks better in person when seen at a normal distance, cause the photos emphasise everything...
A beautiful build of one of my favorite modern fighter aircraft. Double Taurus load- something is getting taken out! Big thumbs up!
Thanks, Jim. yeah, I like the Eurofighter too. It has some nice clean lines and who doesn't like a delta wing plane! I must confess I didn't know anything about the Taurus before...I just found those missile pretty cool looking. (plus the green add some colour to a pretty boring camo really 🙂 )
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Nice and very attractive build Jorge !
Good painting and very nicely applied weathering.
Love the figure, it really add much to the total visual concept of the model.
Hello 🙂 Thank you very much!
Mmmmm - I like this a lot!
I'm glad you liked it, Tom! ?
Fully agree with the above gentlemen, Jorge.
A true beauty.
Thank you, John 🙂
Amazing build, Jorge!
Modern, "single colored" birds are difficult to make them look impressive, but you did it!
Fantastid weathering, too, just "right".
Thank you, Spiros. Yeah, I know. They are quite boring really. And this one, in particular, was even more tricky because, in all the reference photos I had, the German planes are super clean! so not much weathering either!
Yep - very nice, as all above have said! That is definitely hanging some ordnance!
Thanks Greg! 🙂
Beautiful photos of a beautiful model of a beautiful jet.
Thank you, John. Happy you liked it. ?
Nice build mate! Impressive!
I've had many of these jets roar over head when I worked in Grasmere, they are really loud! We were right on the mach loop, you could climb the hills and watch them fly under you on a day off.
Hi mate, thank you 🙂 WOW!. I've never heard this in person just in Youtube videos and they sound pretty loud! I can only imagine how will for real.
