Machine Gunner, 2th SS Division Das Reich, Alpine Miniatures (Scratch), 1/16
Greetings fellow modellers. After a long time, I managed to finish another piece. It is a bust of a German machine gunner from the Ardennes. To create it, I used a figurine from the Alpine miniatures company, which I cut off and replaced my head. I replaced the machine gun with a weapon produced by Jeffshiu's Miniatures. Everything except the face is painted with Andrea Color acrylic paints. I painted the face with Abteilung 502 acrylic paints. The base is made of olive wood.
Congratulations, Roman! Amazing result!
Love all the modifications and add-ons to the basic kit. Great details, such as the cigarette or the wounded finger with the bandage.
Great painting and weathering.
Well done!
Thank you, Spiros. I created a bandage on an injured little finger from a two-component Magic Sculp sealant, a copper wire cigarette.
Beautiful result, Roman @roman_fittl
Not only the figure is superb looking with lots of details, also the base is looking great.
@roman_fittl, it was an honor to see this come about! Very realistic paintwork, the bandage makes the whole attempt into a unique piece!
Thank you very much, gentlemen, I am very pleased that I like my work.
