1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18B VMFAT-101 Sharpshooters
This is my 1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18B VMFAT-101 Sharpshooters. Painted with Gunze/Tamiya acrylics. Decals (Twobobs) were used as template and painted all markings except slime lights and stensils. Ejection seats from Blackbox resin, Eduard pe for canopy, aim-9M from AMK Ordnance and Acmi pod from Bandit Resin Factory. I enjoyed building this and hope to build another hornet on my next project.
Thanks,
Eric
Beautiful camo job
Fantastic work, Eric @speedlimit4444
The camouflage is indeed looking great on this Hornet.
Most excellent job on what seems to me an unusual pattern on a Hornet.
Amazing result, Eric!
Well done!
Getting that intricate splinter surely was a challenge, quite a chore! The result is very impressive, thumbs up!
Stunningly impressive! I admire your precise and yet so soulful, lifelike design. One of the best models I have ever seen, and perfectly photographed!
Thank you everyone! Glad you guys like it.
Beautiful! Having just finished laying out an aggressor scheme on a Japanese F-15, I know it takes some time and focus! Excellent work.
That’s stunning mate, really cool scheme!
Greg & Richard thank you!
That is an awesome F-18, Eric! Love the camouflage paint! I'm in the middle of a 1/48 F-18E from Meng, and really enjoying the build. What is the tarmac material, where did you source that from?
Thanks Joe. The tarmac is actually just a piece of A4 white paper that I used to print a copy of a tarmac years ago. I was suppose to mount it in a wood but I just use it just the same.
Exceptionally well done Eric! That's a great looking Hornet! ?
Thanks Gary!
...Damn Just damn! Am I allowed to say that here? Absolutely killer!
Thanks Stephen!
