    Thanks to the fine painting and the author's attention to details, the figure represents very well the disheartenment of soldiers that were equipped and trained for nineteenth-century battlefields and found themselves in a modern era meat grinder.

  5. Echoing @pjotri69, except for the bolt action rifle, he looks like he could have stepped off a US Civil War battle field. Really well done. Liked.
