I was quite happy with the way the NMM turned out on this very, very nice figure by Stormtrooper Minis. It is satisfying to see progress after what feels figuratively like banging your head against a brick wall.

Nicely done. The old masters did the same..I actually don’t like the effects of Kaenov and others- it’s way too strange a look for anything but chrome plate …your result looks natural…similar to how we did things with metal figures by polishing…

I see this guy as something of a hired gun and not so much your knight-in-shining-armor type.
That said, the shiny chrome effect does work conceptually for fantasy figures.
FWIW, I love this black armor by Caravaggio.
