AMT Turnpiker
Hey everyone.
So, I've always wanted to build this kit, ever since I first saw it. For those of you who are unaware, this is a 1978 issue, that's never been released since.
These things can sell for a pretty penny, but I'm about building, not storing boxes?
Anyway, on with the build..
Looking forward to your build, Stephen!
This will be great, Stephen, we donβt see too many trucks being built. May I suggest you start a WIP over in the Automotive Group so we can follow your build. The Headlines are meant for completed projects. Happy modelling.
Appreciate your good wishes, gentlemen. I'm currently finding my way around this amazing site, so please bare with me?
@George.
I do believe, (with guidance from a dear friend), that I've started a WIP in the correct section?
However, I'll do my best, not to be a pain, and get things right, in the future π―
This format is alien to me, but I'm trying, honestly π―
First of all, welcome to iModeler, I'm sure this will be an awesome build, Stephen @bozzer
As proposed by George @chinesegeorge, it would be nice to see your building progress in one of the build groups. That way it will be easier for you to update the progress you make and easier for other to follow along.
Looking forward to see this truck coming together.
Looking forward to seeing this when finished, by the way what does the term " Turnpiker " mean ?.
Welcome to the sight. I remember that kit from when I was a kid. I always wanted to build it too. I did build the Kentworth cabover years a
go, as my uncle used to drive one over the road. I can't wait to see it all finished up, looking forward to more posts.
Gents, click on my tag, and follow the build.
@neil-foster it's a custom Peterbilt 352 cabover, that's no longer in production, in this format. A rare kit, but a stunner! If you like something flashy, then this baby, certainly tickles the right spots π
