Panther re do
2nd time I have built this kit. The first time ended with frustration and me binning the model (thatโs the polite version). I wanted to take another stab at it and pretty happy with the results. Need to do some weathering and apply the tow cables and spare tracks
Very nice, Butch! I recognize the old Tamiya Panther; it's one of my three armor builds to date. I'm a recent convert to the Gaahleri GHAD68; I've really enjoyed using that airbrush. I assume you painted this Panther with a Gaahleri and it does look great @butchbryan! ๐
Thanks Gary! I did use my Gaahleri, really liking it so far. I have the GHAAD 39 and its worked flawlessly so far.
I have built this kit to good results. Yours looks good at this stage. Nice effort.
Thanks Mark! Hopefully I can do a little weathering and age her a bit
Looks excellent already, Butch!
Thank you Sir! Not very prolific with armor but will see if I cant add a few more ๐
So far this 2nd try looks really nice, Butch @butchbryan
Looking forward to the weathering.
Thanks!
Awesome! I think every armor modeler has built this kit at one time or another. It's a straightforward build and yet detailed enough kit to be a worthwhile endeavor. My Tamiya Panther currently sits on a shelf awaiting another paint scheme tryout (it's undergone two already). Long live the Tamiya Panther!
Long live indeed! ๐
