Revell 1/400 QM2
The Revell 1/400 scale Queen Mary 2. Kit had 550 parts; took a month to build. Prior to building the model my wife and I sailed on the QM2 which also gave me the opportunity to take some detail shots of the 12"=1' scale QM2.
The model is airbrushed with Trucolor paints.
The decks are actual laser cut wood by Artwox.
The photo to the right is at a model ship convention where she took 3rd place amongst 40 entries. I was beyond thrilled!
Very nice! Once I sail in the MSC Musica, which is not near as romantic as QM2
One beautiful build!
This kit was by no means an easy build. I actually made some modifications to improve the kit.

Looks great! Lots of detail there that's hard to see in these pics - maybe some close-ups would show it off a bit more...
