EDUARD 1:72 Spitfire MKVIII
Hi
This is my first post here, so I guess ill introduce myself first.
I am software developer from South Africa, I started this great hobby about 3 years ago. I like building anything from aviation to sci-fi but I really love 72nd scale planes.
I have recently completed this kit with the intention to enter it into this year's nationals. It was a long difficult build with 100s of parts, and I am very satisfied with the result.
Any comments and questions are welcome
that is some splendid detail...you look like you've been doing it all your life...welcome aboard
Thank you so much
Thank you Vince for posting this little masterpiece. Your work is always masterclass. Hope to see the rest of your models on Imodeler. You have a special set of skills that's worth sharing! Welcome onboard!
Thanks, i will post them as they get done 🙂
Thie is an our and out great piece of work in any scale - but in 72? Amazing, and it’s my favourite Spitfire.

Great work, like others above I would thought you been building models for way longer than 3 years 🙂 welcome to iModeler Vince!
72nd scale...?! I've seen 32nd scale Spits that weren't as well done (mine leaps to mind 🙁 )
Welcome to iModeler, sir.
Outstanding workmanship!
Hello Vince,
Masterpiece. A joy to look at all the details.
Regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.
Virtuoso paint work - a really extraordinary display of skill. All the time you spent on it is very evident in the end result.
wow - that kit was a tough build for me OOB, I can't imagine adding all the detail you have done and it coming out so nicely. Very inspiring! Love to see more of your work
Outstanding build! Love the details, the paint and weathering - just a beautiful model, especially in 1/72. Since that's my only scale, I'm really pleased to see this type of craftsmanship. Well done, and welcome to the iModeler community!
Vince. Really nice work on all the detail (that cant be easy in this scale). Nice way to start off your 1st posting with something special. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for sharing !
Amazing! Welcome to the site.
