Kittyhawk Mk.III, 1/32 Hasegawa kit by Tony Prince.
Finished yesterday; this is Hasegawa's 1/32 scale P-40M kit, built as a Kittyhawk Mk. III serving with 112 Sqn. RAF in Italy. Essentially OOB except for seat belts, aerial wire & hydraulic lines. Thanks to Tom Cleaver for a heads up on a couple of construction points too; a big help Tom!
Paints are from Gunze, Valleho & Lifecolor & decals from BarracudaCals (Kittyhawk Mk.I).
Lots of references from the Web including some contemporary colour photos. How lucky can you get?
Happy modelling.
Tony
Great paint job, Tony, and the attention to undercarriage features is convincing in this scale. Maybe next time a closeup of the cockpit interior?
