Hasegawa 1/12 Honda RS250RW
This is a model of the 2009 250cc World Championship winning bike. It's the works Honda machine entered by the Scott racing team, their rider was Hiroshi Aoyama from Japan who went on to enter the top Moto GP championship. I believe it was Hasegawa's first motor cycle kit, and it makes an interesting comparison with the more familiar Tamiya models. It's definitely a more 'fiddly' build than a Tamiya, possible slightly more detailed, but also more delicate. I had a bit of trouble with the masking as there is no guide, and I messed up a couple of the decals (I think the water was a little too hot, causing them to wrinkle). In the end, though, I think it looks quite pretty. I'm not sure which background looks better, the black one

What I think is yours looks better than the real one George! I'm sure others will agree too. Will you be building anymore or sticking with Tamiya?
