1/32 Eduard (Hasegawa) P-40N-5 Warhawk
This is 1/32 Eduard (Hasegawa) P-40N Warhawk finished with the markings of 89th FS 80th FG in India during 1944.
I have used Gunze Sangyo acrylics. Paint scheme is well known Olive Drab over Neutral grey with green patches .
Note the swapped left cowling part and access door.
There is no decal set of this aircraft in 1/32 scale. So it needs to create some markings.
Nose art (Skull & shark eye) with numbers (61) are customized and printed by customhobbydecals.com from Australia.
Happy modelling
Very nice Tolga. I like the little mis-matches
Thanks George
Very creative with the mis-matched panels! Adds some great visual interest to the mostly mono-chromatic scheme. Finished to your high standards as always! Well done.
Thanks Greg
Very creative with an out-of-the-ordinary result. I like it a lot!
Ho hum, another Tolga masterpiece, as usual. 🙂
Thanks Tom 🙂
Nothing looks cooler than a big P-40 with teeth, and you have really filled the bill here, Tolga (@tolgaul). Paint and weathering are very well done!
Thank you George
Great job! i did this in 1/72, although the decal by Rising had left and right scull the same. I think the reddish/tan back drop photographs well.
Thanks Robert
Yes this color of background works well for my opinion too
This is an amazing build. I like everything about it. Well done !
The miss matched panels just add to the realism.
I pressed the “liked” button too.
Thanks Louis 🙂
Absolutely great build, Tolga.
Weathering and painting is very realistic.
No doubt on clicking "like" as well.
Thank you John
An excellent flawless build (as usual) and a very creative scheme, Tolga.
Well done, my friend!
Thanks a lot Spiros
