Bell UH-1H “Huey” from Hasegawa

August 23, 2021 · in Aviation · · 8 · 2.7K

Hello, here are some pictures from my finished model of UH-1H () helicopter. Maybe some of you liked the scene from Forest Gump movie where Forest and his friend arrive to vietnam. Hueys come and wait when soldiers come out of them and then fly away. This is cool scene. I like the look of these machines. This model is painted according to machine stationed in Misawa Air Force Base in Japan. I hope you enjoy the model.

  1. That's a great model, Marcin! Very precise job on this small scale! I like the camp a lot!

  2. Good finish on this Huey, definitely liked.

  3. I've painted that scheme before on a JSDGF Apache. It isn't easy to do. Good job!

  4. Very nice indeed, Marcin @marcpacy297
    Beautiful scheme for this Huey.

  5. A lovely Huey. Just a side note - if it is still there, the F-4 Phantom gate guard at Misawa is the actual aircraft my dad flew out of Cam Ranh Bay in S. Vietnam, though it no longer wears the SEA livery. I tracked it down via serial numbers a couple of years ago.

  6. You have brought out the best in this elderly kit, Marcin (@marcpacy297). Well done.

  7. 🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
A very decent looking Huey model Marcin.
The camouflage work gives it a new appearance.
