Airfix 1/72 Grumman J2F "Duck"

July 18, 2014 · in Aviation · · 8 · 3K

This is the OLD , (OOB) I tried to keep it as simple a build as I could Before it was finished, I just wanted it over with, and it shows. I guess it was the victim of having too many things going at one time. Did I learn my lesson? Probably not. There's just too many models and too little time...

  1. Joe , you must of been quackers building this.
It takes me back to the old old days.
    Nice build though mate.
    Well done mate.

  2. I thought I was the only one who worked on too many at the same time. In my instance it's probably why I get so little finished.
Even if you just wanted to get a kit off the bench I think it still came out fine.
    Well done Joe.

  3. Joe ,you have to take a deep breath and sloooowww down, one at a time is the only way, all you'll end up with is a collection of finished builds none of which you are truly happy with and whats the point in that ?
You must learn patience Grasshopper... :), N.

  4. Cool bird, Joe!

I built one of those once. You might actually have been young then... 🙂

  5. Awesome rendition Joe.

  6. I can't imagine anyone making a better job of this, Joe.

  7. Joe,
You turned a sows ear kit into a silk purse model. Great job on an old kit.
