We have a new member you all ought to meet
My friend Candice Uhlir ( @candiceuhlir - Ed.), who is one of the best modelers I have ever known, has joined us. Here's some pictures of her work. You can see some pretty good articles on each of these over at Modeling Madness.
Great models there. I look forward to seeing more ๐
AWESOME! I fully agree with Tom! Superb! Can't wait to see more!
They look fabulous, but I've little idea what they are, any chance of posting details, i.e. prototype, kit manufacturer, scale, etc, etc?
Some of these look like older kits, but the workmanship is first rate. As George says, it would be nice to see some details attached - maybe links to Modeling Madness listings? She seems to be a WW1 specialist. Thanks for sharing.
Re detail I just noticed Martin's link within Tom's notes, so should get it from there.
I've seen Candice's work online, it's always superb. That Vickers Vimy looks spectacular.
What a talent ! Hopefully we will see more of her great work on iModeler ๐
Great models! It should be more about each.
Best regards, Vlad.
I just put up some of the pictures I took of Candice's models for Modeling Madness. I am sure she will present things with more detail.
Fantastic builds, all of them.
A very talented modeler.
ww1 planes have always been my downfall. Love yours
oh I forgot Welcome to the best modeling site I've been on
Not my forte, Candice, but I see it's most definitely yours. I'd be interested in a little bio-type background that's more in-depth that your member's blurb. Hopefully you can post some of your own photos. ๐
Wow, you are a best-kept secret, eh? Some nice looking stringbags there, I hope you will jump back in. Maybe a nice, easy Fokker D-VII?
Outstanding models, look forward to seeing more.
Wow, keep 'em co ing. Fabulous.
Wow, keep 'em coming. Fabulous.
Wow, keep 'em coming. Fabulous.
I remember seeing your builds on Modeling Madness several years ago - and was VERY impressed, especially with the quality of your rigging. I genuinely missed seeing your builds, and hope you get the inspiration to start up again soon! Your builds on MM helped guide my first 'serious' WW1 attempts not too long ago. Come back and build!
Tom,
She is indeed. Master modeler.
I remember coming across one of Candice's AEG GIV builds years ago on Modeling Madness. Was amazed by her work then-- glad to know we will be seeing her work here now as well!
