Thank you, imodeler! November prize arrived last week.
I wanted to say a big thank you to the folks at imodeler! The prizes from the November contest arrived just a few days ago. They were a beautiful 75mm figure from Pegaso of a Captain ADC to Marshal Suchet 1811 and a wood figure base from Andrea Miniatures. As you can see I wasted no time and have already begun to assemble and paint the figure. I'll be putting together a full step by step walkthrough of the project over in the figure section of this site, so keep an eye out for it.
Congratulations, David...what is that the figure is on in the photo..?
Thanks, Craig. It's a universal jeweler's vise. It has a handle which has been removed so it will sit flat on the table (screws in and out). It also comes with pegs to hold a variety of differently shaped object. You can find them on Amazon for about $15. They're great for figures and I imagine could come in handy for other types of modeling too.
I have always thought that a someone who is a artiest knows how to interpret light. This is a skill you have David. I have enjoyed your posts and your modeling.
