January 23, 2013 · in Aviation · · 3 · 2.3K

Another brick to the Wall of "Bf-109s Attack".
This is Messerschmitt E1 with the markings of “Yellow 10” (W.Nr.6352) from 6./JG 54 during Fall 1940 in Campagne-France.
This Bf 109 E1 was fitted with fuselage mounted ETC250 rack and later style canopy with armor.
The main wheels are replaced by “Aires Bf-109 E wheel set”. Exhausts are from Quickboost
Painting done with Gunze Sangyo acrylics as usual. Undersurfaces painted to RLM65, uppersurfaces to RLM02/71. Fuselage sides darkened with lines of RLM70 and large mottling of RLM02 between the lines. Spinner cap is yellow; remainder RLM70 with white segment.
Decals are from EagleCals EC#122

  1. Tolga... AND a beautiful brick it is... very nice airbrush work with all the right details. Nicely done.

  2. I agree, what a wonderful job with the airbrush. I've never built a 109 in my life, but these posts are giving me some ideas.

  3. Very nice (again). This JG 54 scheme is one of the coolest around.
