I grew up hanging around the airport in Corvallis Oregon as my Dad worked for West Coast Airlines.
At 12 I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes so all my dreams of flying were gone however I still enjoyed aircraft and I started modeling. Now at 55 years old I still model even though the eyes are going bad. Favorite subjects include all things Japanese and Brithish.
This was an enjoyable build start to finish. I built the "George" with only photo-etch harness straps for cockpit detail. My Paints were Model Master enamels and I weathered using pastels and a Prisma color silver pencil.
