I served in the SA Navy from 1972 - 1974, principally aboard SAS Jan Van Riebeeck, an ex RN W class destroyer that was launched in 1944 and saw service in the Atlantic and Far East as HMS Wessex.

Modeling fixation started as a kid with Airfix baggies, and remained constant till the present, surviving one marriage. At present divorced with 2 stunning daughters.

I am a member of IPMS CAPE PENINSULA and serve on the club committee and for my sins has been the Newsletter Editor for the past 2 years
