Born in 1972, I started modelling when I was a about 7 years old and I have been modelling ever since. Back then I built tanks, cars and a lot of 1/72 planes (luckily my parents had a large attic!). The last 20 years I focus on building 1:35 World War II, mainly trucks, cars and tanks but also trains, boats and guns, as long as it is in 1:35 scale. Recently I went back to building planes, but now in 1/32.
This is my attempt to build Tamiya’s 1/32 P51 Mustang. The kit was given to me by my friends for my 50th birthday (thanks again guys!). My first plane in a natural metal finish, and it fought me until the end, probably because of my lack [...]
I would like to share with you my first attempt to build a WW1 plane. It is WNW's Hannover Cl. II "White 2" , Bayerische Fliegerschule 5, as I really liked the colour scheme (and the large lozenge decals for the other versions [...]
I love this kit, although I would have preferred a more accurate landing gear instead of the movable items. The surface detail is stunning. It is built OOB but I added a lot of plumbing in the cockpit and to the engine, along with [...]
At the end of last year I finished this P-38 from Trumpeter. Not a very easy kit to build. There were almost no parts that fitted together without problems. A lot of filling, sanding and repairing lost surface details. If it had not been [...]
This is my Fw 190 F-8 which I recently finished. A nice kit, certainly for its price. I build it mostly out of the box, and only added refinements from scratch plastic and different types of wire, and control surfaces decals from HGW. The [...]
This is Hasegawa’s Ju87D-8 “Night Stuka”. I tried to replicate the box art which I like very much. The most difficult part of the kit IMO is the canopy. I sanded off the molded on structure and polished it again. Then I tried to add [...]
This is the RSO from Das Werk I finished some time ago. It had been unfinished on the shelf of shame for some time as I wanted a tarp on it but I did not know how and could not find a suitable material. Eventually I made it from thin but [...]
I would like to share with you a little dio I recently finished. It's the CyberHobby 10.5 cm Sturmhaubitze 42 Ausf. G (kit 6454). The molded on wafle pattern zimmerit in this kit is very nice. The figures are from Miniart, winter tank crew [...]
Usually I am not into “Paper Panzers”, but some of them I find very hard to resist. Like the Löwe from Amusing Hobby I finished recently. I really like the tough and heavy look of this vehicle! Because historical accuracy plays a less [...]
