Dust off your older builds and your cameras!

When decisions have been made about any previously built kits you would like to add to the group they will be listed here!

Obscure, short run and 'out of manufacture' kits would be especially appreciated here!

As ever, I’d be very grateful if you could check details – especially year/decade – and advise me of any edits you wish to make.

Lightning F.1 and TSR2 1/48 Airfix. (May dust off my old 92sq F.2 as well.) (1960's) Maybe a Spit as well. (1940's)

Brilliant Josh - especially the TSR-2! I have added the first two cold war jets - let me know about the others, as and when!

I can contribute the following from my older builds (all 1/72 of course):

Brewster Buffalo, Westland Whirlwind, Defiant, Vultee Vengence (40's)
    Vampire FB.5, Buccaneer S.2B (50's)
    Lightning F.Mk 6 (60's)
Jaguar GR.Mk 1a (70's) - from the Year of the Cat build

Assuming RAF only - not FAA...

Wow Greg - what a haul! Can you please let me know the kit manufacturers if it is not too much bother? That'll be in keeping with my current way of listing the inventory. Thanks so much for this mammoth contribution - some absolute crackers in there (loving the Vampire especially) - you'll be busy as the 'reveal' takes place!

Greg, Ferry, Tom and Frederick. Thank you so much for the contributions - I have added them to the inventory. You have really filled some gaps, and with some sensational aircraft. I'm already in awe of the number of builds people have added, and full of gratitude to you all - I can't wait to see this all take shape.

Hi Paul, if you think they're suitable, please add my 1950s era Airfix 1/72 Handley Page Victor posted here on iModeler last year, and Tamiya 1/48 Gloster Meteor F.3 from the 1940s, posted in 2015.

    Cheers for now, George

George - that's very modest of you - they are highly suitable and excellent additions - it goes without saying that the HP Victor is extra special - not so many built as far as I can tell! Thank you so much for the contribution!

    Hello Paul.
I have two previous builds that I posted here on Imodeler , (both are Spitfires). One is a Revell 1/32 scale Mk. 1, from 54 Squadron 1940, while the other is a 1/48 scale Revell / Monogram Mk II "The Borough of Lambeth, "BETTE".

I have other kits in the display case that have yet to be posted here. All are Monogram kits in 1/48 scale.

Here's a list of what I can add:

    Hawker Typhoon
    Hawker Hurricane wearing BoB colors
Hawker Hurricane Desert camouflage from North Africa
    DE Havilland Mosquito bomber version
DE Havilland Mosquito Night Fighter... This is a "survivor" kit that I built as a teen. It's OK but not perfect by any means. It's just getting older like me !

Please let me know which ones you would like to see posted.

    Thanks in advance.

Hello Louis, the only sensible answer is 'all of them'! Thank you so much! I will get them into the inventory once you let me know that you are happy for the gb to include them all.

Louis Gardner said 6 years, 9 months ago:

By all means my friend, please add them all. I want to do what I can to help you with this inventory. Most of these aircraft types have already been mentioned, but the more the merrier !

I'll start my 1/48 scale Airfix Boulton Paul Defiant in a few days... and post it in the 100 Years of the RAF Group Build section.

Thanks again my friend for starting this endeavor.
