Here the seat needed a good cleaning. On the final shot is the instrument panel that I cut from a piece if styrene sheet.

Also on the final shot, I cut two small pieces of stretched sprue that I attached to the seat sides.

Glued the fuselage's halves together. Not a good fit, the seams left nice gaps for me to fill in later.

Filling in the gaps I am using thick super glue and Tester's Putty/filler.

On the wings assembly I cut off a piece that was holding both wings together. Then the area by the wing root needed some filing and sanding to smooth out the area.

Wings and fuselage are now together. I still need to do some tweaking of the tail area.

You have a lot of persistence with these vaco kits 🙂

    Amazing work done, Bob @v1pro
Indeed a lot of persistance you have for this kit as mentioned by Lis @lis

Thanks Lis @lis and John @johnb. I just got done giving this the final tweaks. Every time I move one part it effects another area but this is as far as I go with this. I feel after the seams are cleaned up and the painting is done this kit will look fine. I think it is a nice looking aircraft. One day I will build the SAAB J21 to compare the two.

Nice progress and nice "final" tweaking results, my friend @v1pro! Looking forward to see this bird proceeding!

Thank you Spiros @fiveten. I am glad it worked out. This is a sharp looking aircraft.

Later both propellers will have to go though the same treatment to straighten the blades and put them in the correct angles.

    Solid progress indeed, Bob @v1pro
I like you idea to apply uniform pressure on the wing while the glue is drying.

Going the extra mile and adding the small details really improves this kit. It seems like a difficult build.

Bob, nice save on the bent surfaces. Turning into a nice little plane.
