Chuck, someone else asked me the question about a late(ish) addition to the KP GB. To go by the letter of the law, a declaration of intent before June 1 (the official end date of the GB, since the Tunisia Campaign wrapped up in May, 1943 with the surrender oft he Afrika Korps) would do the trick. Why not start a thread in this section with your intent to build? There are lots of possibilities still out there.

On your family thing, anyone with Spanish heritage and proof of even trace Jewish blood has a ready-made history for them: Pre-Isabella Spain was heavily Jewish (the so-called Sephardic Jews), and by definition they are Diaspora Jews, meaning, Jews released from the Exile scattered abroad, including to Tarshish Iberia).
