Those guns look like detail I usually associate with 1/48 kits. Overall this kit is being a banger of a build.

Masking all of the windows in a B-24 is a real challenge, Bernard (@lis). All of your planes have really well-rendered and crisp frames, so I know these will look great.

Engines and wings assembly. This edition from 1991 has better moulds and there was no gaps in cowling haves after assembly. I think body of the resin engines are to long and props are too far from cowlings. But I didn’t find any mistake in assembly.

Masking these beasts is always fun, Bernard (@lis). Even if you get an Eduard set of masks, it is still difficult to get everything sorted out. Almost ready for the camo. Yeah.

Looking good, I have discovered recently that women's make-up sponges make great masking material. @Lis, I used them in open windows, wheel wells and the engine nacelles. For me a lot easier than tape.

So as usual one barrel was broken. This one that I had extra add after drilling nose glazing. It drive me crazy! So I decided to cut it near nose glazing. I prepare replacement barrel from dedicated resin set. I hope it will work. I will glue it at end of work. Also I made some technical work with masking for priming, and I glued turret to avoid problems with fitting at end of work.

Pity for the broken barrel but such things happen, my friend @lis! Great progress!

Brass MG in belly position. Kit has right clear part to use for single MG under belly. But there is no information in manual.

A pity the barrel broke off, Bernard @lis
This definitely can be repaired fairly easy with your skills.
    Progressing nicely.
