    Nice work on the painting, Bernard (@lis). The wheels and superchargers look good, and some nice masking on your de-icing boots should insure they will look the part when the rest of the paint is done. Now that you have used them both, do you like the Mr Color Clear better than Tamiya?

    Those wheels and exhausts look really good. That is some good detail for the smaller scale. Your wash really made it pop.

    After three days painting and a lot of corrections I can say that paintjob is complete. First time I made post- shadeing by diluted US Sand Paint. Hataka brand is quite ok for airbrush. I prefer Mr Color but there is no US sand in Mr color palette. Price of Hataka from C line is quite the same as Mr Color. After that I assembly wings I need to putty and resand and repaint upper surface of fuselage that cracks off (for that reason I was waiting with final fuselage painting before wings was glued to fuselage), But less than my last Liberator. Wings fits very tight and this is reason.

    @gblair

    PS. George, Tamiya Clear applied very poorly on Hataka paint. So I chagned brand, and it is probable that it will last forever.

    I think that is a really good match @lis. The colors look great, the sand looks like it has the right amount of pink to be spot on.
