    Looking super, my friend @johnb!
Yep, scaling down those antennas adds a lot to realism!

@johnb - what’s your method for the burnt metal look? That’s very realistic.

@eb801, thanks a lot Eric. For the burnt metal I created a mixture of rust, grey violet and black in the ratio 1:2:2. Vallejo Model Air was used (71.069, 71.259 and 71.057)

@johnb just had the pleasure of working my way through the whole thread. This is absolutely outstanding. Shame to lock that brilliant interior away - but the photos were great!

@yellow10, thanks a lot, Paul. Hiding the interior is always a pity, pictures do proof the time spent on it, which was nice to do.

Primer applied, some minor things to be corrected and cleaned.

One of the areas that required a bit of clean up.
It looks more dramatic on the picture than in real.

Later on the first full layer of black applied.

Up close always look dramatic - especially in this scale. The overall looks are great, and the color helps a lot to make the appearance of the wings look very realistic. I never got around to comment on the progress but let me add that the single-door bonb-bay looks a lot better than the kit-solution. Nice!

What kind of Night Paint did You use? PS. Is the corrected place a hole for dropping leaflets?

I agree with Erik, the black looks very dramatic, John (@johnb). You really did some nice work to get all the corrugations and geometric shapes ready for paint.

@airbum, thanks a lot, Erik. I have to be honest that this additional work on the bomb doors did indeed improve the looks.
