Right half of the fuselage is done and I did some dry fitting with the centre part.
The PE parts really did busy up the cockpit region.
The left half side does contain less parts so that should be finished in a shorter time.
I noticed that there are no bombbay doors, just one big cover.
Since I would like to build it with an open bombbay, some surgery will be required.

The right half looks also superb, my friend @johnb! Looking forward to the bomb bay doors surgery!

Finally I'm calling the interior done.
Except for the turrets ofcourse which will be the next parts to be assembled.
Work was done on the left half side which was less work compared to the right side half.

Dry fitting both fuselage halves, till now, looks ok, have to see how it will turn out once the turrets are placed as well.

Well done finishing this wonderful interior, my friend @johnb! Great that fit of the fuselage halves looks promising.
It must have been "nice" to be in this purple-ish interior, at least it would be different from the "usual" greenish/greyish/blackish interiors 🙂

    @fiveten, thanks a lot Spiros.
It is difficult to find true evidence of the exact internal color used for the canvas, in most cases you read about this redd-ish/purple-ish color. But definitely different than the usual ones.

    Turrets and engines

Montex masks are used on the turret transparant parts.

The frontside turret contains a PE frame and seating elements as well.

The idea is to first paint the transparant parts black, which will be the internal color.

Recently Lis @lis asked when I wouldf be painting the turrets, currently my thoughts are to mount the turrets after the black painting and apply the camouflage color once all is mounted.

Some cleaning work on the engine parts has started as well.

@fiveten, thanks a lot Spiros. Even without the PE, Trumpeter included nice details as well for this smaller scale.
