Magic🤗

Thanks my friend @gblair! Indeed, good old Humbrol 11. And I buffed it (though it is "non-buffable" 😁). My batch of Humbrol 11s is from...2007, don't know how newer batches fare, though, as they become more "environmental friendly" .

Hi Spiros (@fiveten): I used to used Floquil Silver and Old Silver for metal finishes. Floquil lacquers became so environmentally friendly that they don't exist anymore.

Man, that looks great, Spiros @fiveten! 👏 That Humbrol 11 has been my go-to paint for the shiny oleo sections on landing gear, but I've never sprayed an entire model with it. It turned out really nice too. 👍 I have a really old tin of it that has gotten pretty chewy so I bought a new tin a year or so ago and it doesn't seem to be quite as "bright" or shiny as the older stuff. Have you ever used Humbrol's MetalCote polished aluminum? I find it to be a good choice for NMF, and easy to mask over as well. 😊
