Water Lord’s book first published in 1957...
Is a great read. It basically provides vignettes into peoples experiences that were at Pearl Harbor during the attack on both sides. Not a typical book about the details of events. I’ve had this copy for decades and get it out and read it near the anniversary of that fateful day. It has several photographs of the carnage at Pearl Harbor.

It’s long been one of my favorites, John @johnb , he also wrote a similar one about the ill fated ocean liner Titanic called a “ A night to remember”.
