Brian - Thanks for shedding a bit of light on that "Dennis The Menace" decal and whether or not it was actually used on Wvyern 278 or did Trumpeter make this up? I don't trust any of Trumpy's research. Thanks for looking.

    THE OTHER SIDE
Here's a view of the port side of the plane. I will doing a little touch up before the final photos after taking a breather from this build. A little time away from the workbench sure helps to see what's missing or when to leave well enough alone.

Spiros: Glad you followed along and your comments really helped.
    Michel: Appreciate your support.

Turned out great Eric. I went through my books and did find "Dennis the Menace" on a "278". I say a "278" because the serial number of this aircraft was VZ750. This was at a later period when the tail code had changed from "J" to "E" but was still aboard HMS Eagle

Congratulations Eric, your Wyvern is a thing of beauty despite its ungainly lines. Great work overall!

George: That’s very interesting. Glad you solved the “Dennis the Menace” puzzle. Again, thanks for all this research. You know, that little guy riding the bomb doesn’t look at all like the comic strip Dennis drawn by Hank Ketchum that I’m used to. I wonder if the UK has its own Dennis?

Pedro: The Wyvern may be ugly but it has grown on me.
