    Thank you Tom @tcinla
This is a fun project… reliving history for me since I built one of these about 45 years ago. There is a Hasegawa 1/32 Ju-87D at the local hobby shop that’s been calling to me… I may bring it home.

Hello Desert Warriors… I have been able to reach a major mile stone
on the Stuka….. the wings have been attached to the fuselage. Almost no gaps associated with that big step. Also the radiator was installed under the engine. There was a bit of a gap associated with that installation though, nothing that can’t be easily remedied. Build up of the landing gear will be the next item to tackle .

It is a nice size @fiveten. I’ve been reading about the Ju-87, apparently there were standard wing span and also one version with a wider wingspan, the Hasegawa kit can be made as either. That might be one to consider in the near future.

It’s gratifying to see it coming together. It’s been easy and enjoyable so far, @johnb.

The horizontal stabilizers have been installed. The locating tab was a little too big to fit through the slot in the tail, so some whittling had to be done to get everything to fit just so. The end cap pieces that go on the stabilizers had sink marks that needed filled.

Last night after coming home from work at 11:30, I was eager to try out a tip I had gotten from Morne @mornem. He suggested using a correction fluid pen to fill narrow gaps. With schools starting up, all the pens were out of stock at the stores I checked, so I used this white out after masking along the seam at the bottom of the fuselage. It was allowed to dry all night. This morning I wet sanded it, I think it looks good, perhaps it needs a little more TLC with the sanding stick.
I will try to do a little more work this morning before I must leave for work again. There are many more seams that need attention.

Hi Jay. You are progressing very well with the build. The correction fluid is a VERY cheap alternative to branded model fillers. It is easy to work with. I am eagerly looking forward to your next installment. Well done!

That's a nice trick from our good friend @mornem!
The Stuka looks better and better, my friend @ssgt!

You are right, Morne @mornem. I think the pen applicator , as you suggested, would be better. Eventually I will get one, but I was too impatient to wait. I appreciate your tips and other input on this project.

Spiros, @fiveten, that was a great tip from Morne’ @mornem. He had recommended using the correction fluid in a pen applicator. They have been unavailable here , so I had to settle for a bottle. I think the pen would be better. It seems to be a good idea though.

Hello @johnb ! Morné says to wet sand the seam after the correction fluid is dry.

Today I used a hole template ,that I made with some scrap aluminum and a hole punch at work last night , to mark the spinner for masking for the yellow paint . Kind of a slow day at the Oklahoma Stuka Werks, but it is still forward momentum nonetheless.
