Jay your template is pure genius. Definitely something I will use for future builds!

Thank your Morné @mornem ! It worked out pretty nice. It was just guess work about which punch to use on the hole punch machine , the holes are identified by letters. I used a “K” hole punch , it was the closest to the 5/8 inch I thought I needed.

The spinner now has a yellow tip on it. the two main landing gear are together. I’ve been working on the seams with the correction fluid pen and sand paper like @mornem suggested to me. The pen is certainly the way to go with narrow seams/gaps. Also I have been masking the clear green house cockpit glass. The frame work is pronounced and that makes it easier for old eyes . Perhaps it won’t be too long before the paint crew can get to work applying the camo.

    Thank you Spiros @fiveten !

I was also able to install the window on the bottom of the fuselage today using Microscale Micro Kristal Klear adhesive. Wonderful product. Additionally I installed the unique looking control surfaces on the trailing edge of the wings and also the dive brakes under the wing. Revell designed those so they could be installed deployed or stowed. I chose to show them in the stowed position. It’s been a busy modeling day today. Should not be too much longer before she’s ready to roll in to the paint hanger .

Looking great, my friend @ssgt! With the addition if those surfaced the classic and beautiful Stuka look emerges! Krystal Klear and the similar products from other manufacturers are indeed great products.

    Absolutely great progress Jay @ssgt
The yellow on the propellor looks very nice.
Take care during the rest of the build on those control surfaces, they are a fragile part of the Stuka.

Thank you @johnb & @fiveten ! I hope to get this painted soon, my goal is to display it next to the 1/32 Me-109 I recently completed , and I’d like the finish to be similar. @mornem has been very helpful with this project and given me ideas on improving my paint and and other innovative ( to me) ideas on building a better airplane. Also @tcinla A-20 project has given me inspiration on preshading I’d like to try out in a future build, such as my B-17D or the Flying Tiger P-40 I have started.

Revell used the Stuka in the Chicago Museum of Science as the basis for this kit I’m building, I’ve attached a photo of it. Someday I’d like to visit that museum. It also has the U-boat 505 on display there. That’d be worth the trip.
